I sit here today with the warm breeze blowing in my apartment window and I truly know that spring is here. It is a time of year when I think back to what inspired me to create The I Believe Bunny and his home in the flower-filled glen. Perhaps, it was because sometimes you wish that every day brought the promise of spring and that a place full of flowers, butterflies and ladybugs would be the perfect place to live.
Kids are always asking me what my favorite books were when I was a child
and I know well that the inspiration for The I Believe Bunny came from my mother reading me the wonderful, whimsical books of Beatrix Potter. I’ll never forget the characters, the frog Jeremy Fisher, the duck Jemima Puddle-Duck and the little pig named Pigling Bland. I also loved her beautiful illustrations and when I first saw the work of Frank Endersby on his web site I knew he was the artist to bring my Bunny to life.

So, when you can, take a minute to read one of my books and spend a little time in the flower-filled glen.
It will make a beautiful spring day, even better.
